в Internet Explorer под блоком появляется отступ

в Internet Explorer под блоком появляется отступ, уже все вроде перепробовал, ни где ответа не нашел.
удалось это исправить обходным путем спомошью задания свойтсва important { margin-top: 2px !important;  margin-top: -1px;} так как Internet Explorer его игнорирует, но вот проблема в 7.0 исправили это.
Отступ образовывается между content и footer, картинку загрузить не могу поэтому прийдется в слепую понимаать проблему,
очень надеюсь на помошь.

Под каким болком? Вы бы минимизировали код и выложили проблемный участок,или целиком весь документ (вместе с DOCTYPE)

Можно обойти и IE7, указав следующее:
{ margin-top: 2px;  //margin-top: -1px;}
Лучше было бы даже так
{ margin: 2px 0 0 0;  //margin: -1px 0 0 0;}
Но это решение лишь сугубо на первый взгляд, поскольку в коде я не копался.

я еще нашел такой вариант правда пока не пробовал
[id]#element или [class].element
